A Combination of Mattes, Velvet and Satin finishes

Lately I have been exploring eyeshadows with a matte, velvet and satiny finishes. Shades with these finishes are very work-friendly and can easily be paired with a bright lipstick shade.

-To neutralize the shadows under my eyes I used a bit of BB corrector
-To brighten under the eyes I applied LM secret concealer on top of the corrector
-The concealers were set with LM secret brightening powder
-Guerlain Terracota Bronzing powder was used to define the cheekbones
-MAC Mineralize blush in warm soul on the apples of the cheeks
Eyes
-NYX Jumbo Pencil in milk was used as a base all over the eyelid and brow bone
-MAC Orb (matte) shadow was used as a second shadow base to set the creaminess of Milk
-MAC Texture (velvet) was applied above the crease as the transition color
-MAC Espresso (matte) was blended into the crease
-MAC Shroom (satin) was applied on the lid, the inner corners of the eyes and the brow bone
- I lined my top lashline with Blacktrack fluidline
- Lashes were curled with E.L.F. eyelash curler and coated with LORAC Multiplex 3D mascara
-Ardell lashes in #53 were applied

FOTD-Get More Out Of Your Products...

Hello everyone :) This is the look I did today. My goal was to use a few products more than one way.  I used a pressed eyeshadow on the crease and to define my brows, a loose pigment for all over the lid, to highlight the brow bone and as a highlighter above the cheekbones, and a lipstick as a cream blush and a lip stain.

Products Used
Eyes:

E.L.F. Eyelid Primer
MAC Vanilla pigment (all over lid and brow bone and to highlight cheekbones)
Urban Decay eyeshadow in Buck (on the crease and to define brows)
MAC Blacktrack Fluidline
Prestige My Biggest Lashes

Lips: Hourglass Femme Rouge in Nocturnal; as a lip stain and as blush (sorry isn't really noticeable)

FOTD- Green and Gold

Today I decided to use MAC humid eyeshadow again, which is a gorgeous forest green that really pulls together the whole eye look. I recently did a look using humid, and both looks are very similar. In this look I used Goldmine eye shadow on the lid, and the previous one I used rice paper on the lid. I feel as if green colors really makes brown eyes pop, and who does not want that?
I kept the lips simple, using Hourglass Femme Rouge in Fresco (a MLBB lip color).
Products are listed below!

Hourglass Femme Rouge Velvet Creme Lipstick in Fresco and Nocturnal

3.5g (0.12oz)
US $30

What it is: Hourglass lipsticks are described as being "a lustrous, cream formula lipstick that hydrates and soften lips".
Packaging: The Femme Rouge lipstick is cased in a dark brown metal tube. My first thoughts on the packaging was that it is interesting and unique, but what caught my eye even more is the way the lipstick is designed. There is an hourglass printed on the lipstick, and the lipstick is slanted a bit front and back. These details is what makes the packaging so pretty and easy to use. There are also refill cathridges that are sold separately for $24 each.
Verdict: Before I state my feelings about this lipstick I want to note that there is a noticeable scent when smelling the lipstick and applying it to the lips. I can smell it after a couple minutes of application, and then either it fades away or I just do not notice the smell anymore. The formula is really creamy and opaque. However, the color you choose will determine how pigmented it will apply onto the lips. The lasting power on these lipsticks is excellent, wearing about 3 to 4 hours before the color begins to fade. The lipsticks are comfortable to wear and not drying. I would not describe them as being particularly moisturizing, but they do not make my lips crave the moisture of a lip balm. Overall, I am very satisfied with this lipstick formula and I am looking forward to trying out other colors.
Fresco- is a softened pink color with no shimmer in it. It is probably best described as a my lips but better color, where it gives them a bit of a pink punch without screaming too loud. I think this shade is gorgeous for an everyday look, natural look or when you wear heavy/bright eye makeup and want to tone down the lips.
Nocturnal- is a softened raspberry pink. The color is opaque delivering full coverage.
