Warm Sunny Look posted on a Rainy Day!

Hello everyone! I know I have not been blogging lately. These past few weeks I have been trying to adjust to a new job chapter so I decided to take a break from posting but I do miss it. I hope your all doing great! :)
So now onto the look...it is warm with a combination of golds, reds and a red-burgundy shade. The LORAC 3D lustre was used only on the eyelid on top of goldmine but my camera did not pick up all the golden shimmers (in person it looks beautiful!) I shaded my brows with MAC Espresso rather than Coquette. I find that espresso gives them a more defined look while coquette makes them look more natural. My new favorite and go-to eyeliner is LORAC Front of the Line Pen eyeliner. It is so easy to apply because of it's fine tip, and it is a true rich black. On the lips I am wearing my new Chanel Rouge Coco in Rouge Orage which is a mixture of reddish-coral shades with pink undertones.

 Face:
Bobbi Brown Foundation Stick in Warm Honey 5.5
Bobbi Brown Corrector in dark Bisque
Laura Mercier Secret Concealer #04
Laura Mercier Secret Brightening Powder to set concealers
Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder to set cream foundation
MAC Blunt Blush to Contour

Lips:
Chanel Rouge Coco in Rouge Orage
Eyes:
Urban Decay Eye Primer Potion
MAC Goldmine on the lid
MAC Coppering on the crease
NYX Rust on the crease and blended into coppering
MAC Handwritten on the outer v
LORAC 3D Liquid Lustre on the lid only
LORAC Front of the Line Pro Liner
Prestige My Biggest Lashes Mascara

I hope you like the look!

Burnt Copper, Oranges, and Feather Lashes!

Hello my lovely readers! I just got these fabulous Baci eyelashes from my supervisor who has a Baci Lingerie catalog. Baci is an Autralian Lingerie brand which I recently learned about. It is known for its sensual, provocative and fine lingerie. But that is not it. Baci also carries a wide range of lashes, from high fashion styles to the everyday natural lash.
Baci-Lashes are described as being the "highest quality, largest range and something for every occasion". The lashes are made from synthetic material and an adhesive glue is included in every packaging. I tried using the lashes with their adhesive (which is clear) but they did not want to stay put. So I just used my Ardell lash glue.
For the selection of shades I went for coppery-orangy colors. I had been wanting to do a look using the beautiful coppery-orange shade from the Tarina Tarantino Dreamy Jewel Palette I recently reviewed.

Products Used (listed in the order applied):
Face
-Guerlain foundation mixed with Chanel Pro Lumiere
-Laura Mercier Secret Concealer
-Laura Mercier Secret Brightening Powder

-NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in Bronze as transition color and eyelid

Ivy Shimmer

I really am enjoying doing these eyeliner posts. One thing I do beforehand is draw on a notepad some of the ways I can draw eyeliner on my eyes. If I like the finished drawing, I will give it a try. Drawing it on paper allows me to know what direction to take first and how to go about it. For this look I stayed away from using shimmer on the lids because I wanted the lines to be the main attraction.

Products Used:
Wet n Wild ColorIcon Palette in Vanity- top right cream shade all over lid and brow bone
second right light toffee shade mixed with cream color on the lid
MAC Blacktrack Fluidline
Bobbi Brown Long-Wear Gel Eyeliner in Ivy Shimmer Ink 14
LORAC Front of the Line PRO Liquid Eyeliner in Black- traced on top of Blacktrack to get a more precise line
Laura Mercier Tightline Cake Eye Liner in Black Ebony
Prestige My Biggest Lashes Mascara- top lashes
LORAC Multiplex 3D Lashes Mascara- lower lashes
Rimmel Eye Kohl in Jungle Green 031- to line the lower rim of the eye

Thank you for visiting ;)

LORAC: Close up Kit- Review, Swatches and Day Look

Close Up: Real Life To Red Carpet Natural To Dramatic Face Tutorial $39 ($120 Value)
What it is:
"A kit by LORAC creator Carol Shaw to give you all the tools you need to easily create any look you desire. A tutorial look book is also included with steps on how to create and transform a day look into a night look".
This set contains: (all products are full-size)
- 0.15 oz Starry-Eyed Baked Eye Shadow Trio in LORACstar
- 0.02 oz Front Of The Line Pro in Black
- 0.43 oz Multiplex 3D Lashes Mascara in Black
- 0.12 oz Blush in Soul
- 0.17 oz Couture Shine Liquid Lipstick in Trend Setter
- Tutorial Look Book
Starry-Eyed Baked Eye Shadow Trio in LORACstar

What it is: A set of three colorful baked eyeshadows
Verdict: LORAC eyeshadows are shimmery, smooth and easy to blend. With a primer/base underneath they wear beautifully throughout the day.

Front of the Line PRO in Black

What it is: "A long-wearing, water-resistant liquid eyeliner".
Verdict: My first impression with this eyeliner was disappointing. It seemed to be dry and achieving an even line was impossible. I thought that I might have picked a defected one. However I decided to store the eyeliner upside down and the next time I gave it a try the performance was excellent. The color is a true black and wears for hours with no flaking or budging occurring. The flexible tip gives you control for creating a very fine to dramatically bold line.
Multiplex 3D Lashes Mascara in Black

What it is: "A buildable, smudge-resistant, multidimensional mascara".

Verdict: A mascara that does not clump, flake or smudge is what I look for in a mascara. This LORAC mascara fits the bill with an added plus at lengthening lashes.

Blush in Soul

What it is: LORAC describes this as a blush that "brightens your face and accentuates your features". Soul is a dusty rose.
Verdict: One of my favorite products from the kit is this blush. The color is perfect for defining your cheekbones without needing bronzer or a highlighter. The satiny silver sheen brightens cheeks. I have used this blush since I bought the blush and have found how versatile it is because it works with many eyeshadows and lip colors.

Couture Shine Liquid Lipstick in Trend Setter

What it is: LORAC describes this as "a nourishing liquid lipstick". Trend Setter is a warm pink champagne.

Verdict: I have found a new lip product that is really comfortable, has a pleasant smell and wears beautifully. These Couture shines feel smooth on the lips leaving them well nourished. Jojoba oil and sweet almond are among some of the ingredients included, which help maintain moist. Couture shines can be worn alone. For more intense color and wear they can be added on top of a lipstick.

LORACstar Trio, Blush in Soul, Couture Shine in Trend Setter, and Front of the Line  PRO

Would I recommend this to a friend? Yes! It is a great way to get introduced to some of LORAC products!
